Cătălin Viorel Nan is President of the National Federation of Romanian Parents – Edupart (elected April 2024) and Vice-President of the European Parents’ Association (EPA), elected in Paris in April 2026. The Federation brings together 44 branches across 38 counties and Bucharest’s six sectors, representing parents in dialogue with Romania’s Ministry of Education, Parliament and Government.

An entrepreneur since 2002, when he founded his first company in Chicago, he runs ARA, a CNC machining company in Râșnov, and co-founded Tiny Steps, a multilingual kindergarten he moved from Chicago to Romania in 2009. He holds a law degree from Transilvania University of Brașov and is the father of three daughters.

All roles in parent representation are held on a voluntary basis.
